Job Title: Laundry Manager

1- year Employment Contract (renewable)
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the laundry department within a UHNW private residence, including the safe and efficient operation of high-end laundry and dry-cleaning equipment.
- Ensure meticulous care of designer garments, bespoke clothing, fine linens, and delicate fabrics, including expert-level stain removal, hand-washing, steaming, and pressing.
- Uphold exceptional standards for laundering, ironing, folding, and presentation, with attention to fabric-specific requirements and wardrobe management protocols.
- Organize, document, and care for the Principal’s wardrobe, including seasonal rotations, alterations coordination, and travel wardrobe preparation, always with the highest level of discretion.
- Ensure the laundry area is immaculately clean, organized, and fully operational; oversee regular maintenance of equipment and safe handling of laundry chemicals.
- Maintain accurate inventory of linens, wardrobe items, and laundry supplies; manage reordering cycles and liaise with household management on replenishments.
- Lead, train, and supervise Laundry team and support staff, ensuring professionalism, discretion, and precision. Experience managing large teams across multiple shifts.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within UHNW private households, superyachts, or 5-star luxury environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing and developing large laundry or housekeeping teams, including scheduling, training, and quality control.
- Strong background in high-end garment care, fabric handling, and wardrobe management for discerning clients.
- Proven ability to deliver impeccable service with complete discretion and confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Professional training in fabric care, stain removal, and industrial/domestic laundry equipment operation.
- Familiarity with luxury clothing brands, specialty materials (e.g., cashmere, silk, lace), and preservation techniques.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with a calm and meticulous approach under pressure.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
