Job Title: Assistant Housekeeping Manager

Duties:

  • Support the Head Housekeeper in overseeing all housekeeping operations, ensuring every area of the estate is maintained to impeccable UHNW standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the housekeeping team, manage daily schedules, and provide clear direction to ensure efficiency and high-quality results.
  • Conduct regular inspections across all household areas, ensuring compliance with cleanliness protocols, health and safety standards, and proper use of equipment and materials.
  • Lead training and development initiatives for new and existing housekeeping staff, fostering a culture of excellence, discretion, and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, oversee the ordering and restocking of housekeeping supplies, and ensure equipment is clean, safe, and operational.
  • Prepare detailed daily and weekly reports for the Head Housekeeper, attend staff briefings, and confidently manage the team in their absence.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations while remaining adaptable to last-minute changes, events, and the evolving needs of the principal and estate.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a senior housekeeping role within a UHNW private household, luxury estate, or 5-star hospitality environment.
  • Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and operations in a high-pressure, service-oriented environment.
  • Deep understanding of luxury estate standards, housekeeping protocols, and high-level presentation and detail.
  • Proven ability to remain calm and organized under pressure, handling unexpected changes with professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) for scheduling, reporting, and documentation.
  • Exceptional leadership, time-management, and organizational skills.
  • Immaculate personal presentation, professionalism, and a high level of confidentiality.
  • Flexible and adaptable to varying schedules, including evenings, weekends, and special events.
  • Positive, proactive approach with a focus on service excellence and team motivation.
  • Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
